DM-TV6-T Triple IR Detector

Triple IR DetectorThe Simtronics DM-TV6-T triple IR flame detector uses three infrared sources to discriminate between flames and spurious sources of IR radiation to offer a high degree of false alarm immunity.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use and ATEX approved for zones 1 & 2. The Simtronics 3IR Flame detector is also qualified for use in SIL 2 systems.

Many other flame detectors require temporary scaffolding to be erected to reach the devices for configuration and testing. The MultiFlame range can be remotely configured and tested using the TLU600 and LT15 Test Torch meaning direct access to the detector is not required.

DM-TV6-V UV/IR Detector

Combined UV & IR Flame DetectorThe Simtronics DM-TV6-V flame detector combines the benefits of ultraviolet and infrared flame detection in to a single device. An alarm is not triggered unless both UV and IR alarm criteria are satisfied guaranteeing excellent false alarm immunity. The detector has a wide viewing angle and offers long range detection.

Using the TLU600 wireless handheld terminal accessory, the Simtronics DM-TX6-T and DM-TV6-V can be easily configured and periodically tested by a single operator without the need to physically gain access to the detector.

FDS301 Visual Flame Detector

FDS301 Flame DetectorThe FDS301 is a stand alone colour imaging based flame detector. Each detector incorporates:

  • Integrated CCTV surveillance
  • Digital signal processing
  • Software algorithms

The unique software algorithms are capable of discriminating between genuine fire conditions and other radiant sources that may cause other detectors to become desensitised or produce unwanted alarms.
Live Video Images

The surveillance aspect of the detector provides local colour video data and eliminates the need to dispatch operators to investigate alarms as the live video images are displayed directly in the control room. This reduces the risk of injury to operators and improves event response time.

The detector can be set to record images to the built in SD card meaning in the event of an alarm, the images before and after can be used for post incident analysis and to assist future accident prevention.

The FDS301 is a unique flame detection device providing both flame detection and CCTV surveillance and image recording capabilities.
