This case study truly exhibits the diverse range of our capabilities and the flexibility of our manufacturing process. The manufacture of obsolete parts is always a test, however the production of a wheel cylinder for the hydraulic brake system on the 1961 Ferrari Berlinetta Coupe was a real challenge!
Peter Bennet: "The Ferrari cylinders are ordered by classic car clubs, dealerships and individual enthusiasts. The cylinder also fits the Daimler limousine and the early Aston Martin DB4. The components we manufacture are made to a very high tolerance – the diameter of the central pin in this cylinder is accurate to .0005 of an inch."
Groveley has since won similar orders for old Lagonda, Jaguar and Rover car parts.
